Hello people!

Some of you might remember that originally this 5-year birthday giveaway was supposed to last a bit longer (until 5th January) but some things came in the way and changed my original plans and I thus decided to change the end date to 25th December instead, which was yesterday. Thank you for your understanding ~

Now let's get to the results! 

I just want to clarify first how the winner was chosen. I used a random number generator online to determine the winner. The first number that I got on the generator was the winning one and I matched it up with who posted the comment of the same number on the giveaway entry post.

Blog 5-year birthday GIVEAWAY

Happy 1st December everyone!

On this exact day, five full years ago, I made this blog. It feels crazy that it's already so long ago – time sure does fly by! But yeah, with that said and without further long-winding emotional mumbo jumbo about the past years of blogging and cosplaying and... *sniff* ............ Oh man, I still love you guys for the support and for staying with me all these years, I really do. ;_; I still don't know where you all came from (you are like coins from Saunalahti!) and it doesn't really even matter but hey, I'm genuinely happy that you enjoy my writings and I hope to see you around for a long time to come! I will also try my best to keep blogging for a long time to come as well, so that you peeps have something to look forward to! ♥

Blog 4-year birthday + MINI GIVEAWAY!!

Today, on 1st December, is my cosplay blog's birthday! Woop! ╰( ･ ᗜ ･ )╯ *throws candies*
It sure does feel a bit surreal to think that this blog has already been around for 4 years but hey, I'm really happy that I decided to create this thing and if I regret anything then it's that I didn't make this blog earlier. :'D After all, I did start "officially" cosplaying already at late 2009 so yeah ~

To celebrate this 4-year blog birthday I decided to hold a mini giveaway for all my readers! Because hey, you guys mean a lot to me! ^o^ While I did start this blog mainly for documenting my own progress (and sharing my costuming knowledge to others) I never really expected over 200 people to be interested in my writings! (⊙_☉) I don't know where you all came from –or why you decided to follow my costuming adventures– but I sure do enjoy knowing that I'm not only writing for myself anymore, if that makes sense. Sure that I still keep this blog mainly for my own pleasure (so yeah, it would have been around even if the only signs of activity came from myself lol) but hey, having actual readers just makes it 20% cooler! o(^◇^)o

It's the Kimchi Flora Greens which I've recently reviewed here, so go ahead and click that link if you wanna see what lenses this giveaway is giving... away. x)
The lenses are of course authentic, unopened and still in their original vials. This pair is plano prescription, which means that there's no vision correction.
These are yearly lenses too, so if you take good care of them they will last you one year once you open the bottles. I personally recommend 6 months though, but it's up to you. :)

Note: expiry date is summer 2016 on these, so be sure to open them before that!

The three first numbers that I got on the generator were the winners (first generated number won first prize, second number second prize etc) and the numbers I got I matched up with who posted the comment of the same number on the giveaway entry post. I got 18 comments in total, but some were of the same person –because they forgot to mention their email or something– so I didn't count doubles in; every person who entered only had one valid entry number and thus everyone had the same chances to win. :) No cheating here!

I know it's late but let's pretend it's not and I'm already on this writing moment at 161 readers (thanks! <3) but I honestly haven't had time to focus on this giveaway earlier because of the ongoing con summer season. Sorry. ;_; But now I have time to breathe out so here it comes, enjoy!

First off, I'm very surprised and happy about so many people having interest in my cosplay life! o_o Even in my wildest dreams I didn't see this popularity coming! If I'm completely honest I have to admit that originally back when I started this blog I planned to mostly have it as a personal notebook kind of thing, you know, just to keep track of my cosplay life for my own amusement. I wasn't counting on any outside interest except for maybe a few really close friends; I wasn't even expecting to ever reach 20 readers! So guess if I'm completely and utterly mindblown by all of you? I am, really. ;A; How did this happen? Mistä näitä lukijoita oikein tulee? :-DD
All of you motivate me to keep writing this blog and so much more that I can't even explain with words! Thanks to cosplay –and all wonderful people I've met along the road– I've leveled up a lot as a person and I'm very grateful for that! <3 I wouldn't have got this far without all you awesome peeps out there! As a sort of 'thank you' I have a celebration giveaway on the plate! ~

These are of course authentic, unworn and still in their original sealed bottles. Diameter effect is 15.0 mm according to the bottle, site says 14.2 mm. These are plano lenses (0.00 prescription).

Brand new and never used! I don't know if it's heat resistant or not but the original site claims that it is; be careful if you decide to try heat styling it.

Third prize! Pokémon Jirachi – The Movie: Wishmaker (2004)

Sparingly used, works well. The disc holder of the case has one piece missing but it still holds the disc in place. The cover is the Swedish release but the movie has dubs in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish.
